Keep the Flock Flying
Trak The Flok started with a grandpa, a 3D printer, and 100 ducks hidden across Madison County, Ohio. It's still powered by the same thing — love for the game and a little help from people like you.
This isn't a big company. It's a family project.
Papa started printing ducks for the grandkids' Easter egg hunt. Seven grandchildren. One hundred ducks. Released across Madison County, Ohio in September 2026. The idea was simple — hide them, find them, track them.
What nobody expected was how much joy a little rubber duck could bring a stranger. People started finding them at parks, on hiking trails, tucked into library shelves. They'd scan the QR tag, see the duck's name, and log a sighting. The map lit up. The flock grew.
Now we want to share that with everyone. But keeping this running costs real money — and every dollar donated goes directly toward keeping the website alive and making sure every finder gets that moment of discovery.
Where the money actually goes
No fluff. Here's the real cost of keeping the platform running.
The server that stores every sighting, photo, and duck profile — running 24/7 so finders can report instantly.
Every GPS coordinate, every photo upload, every sighting logged — it all lives somewhere.
OpenAI checks each duck photo to make sure it's actually a duck before it goes live.
